Visual art course for kids and adolecents: Regular visual arts classes

What is Visual Arts?

A broad category that includes the traditional fine arts such as drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture; communication and design arts such as film, photography, graphics: logo, typography; design: product design, interior, architecture, etc. Folk arts, and work of art such as ceramics;fibers; jewelry; works in wood, paper, and other materials.

Art class schedule

(All art classes are provided a session per week only & Closed on Sunday & Public holiday)

(Payment is paid on a bi-monthly basis, according to the sessions in 2 month duration, sessions on Public holidays excluded)

Junior Art Class視覺藝術預備班

Aged 2– 5: 1hr15mins (material included)

Projects designed for the young ones with a view to encouraging creativity, enhancing artistic awareness & facilitating fine motor development.

Basic Regular art class視覺藝術基礎班

Aged 6-8: 1hr15mins (material included)

Curriculum with a strong focus on technique and art knowledge with experimentation of various media & forms. Different culture and art history will be explored.

Regular art class視覺藝術進階班

Aged 9-11: 1hr30mins (material included)

Based on the Regular curriculum, students are guided to deeper analysis of creating artworks and better skills for preparing to promote to the intermediate class.

Intermediate Art class 視覺藝術中班

Aged 12& up: 1hr30mins (material included)

These classes are planned to guide the teen students to create their own masterpiece with the advice and demonstration from the teacher. Various 2D and 3D forms of visual arts will be taken into practice in order to widen the students’ horizon.

Advanced Art Class視覺藝術高班

Age: Adolescents & Adults 1hr30mins (material included)

A deeper study of visual arts is provided, including theories and practices, how to make Journal for the record of developing ideas etc. All visual arts aspects will be explored.

(New students apply for Intermediate and Advanced art class must have average knowledge and training in art; for students without experience in art will start at the basic training first)

Drawing & Painting Class 素描及繪畫綜合班

Aged 7-8: 1hr15mins (material included)

Aged 9 & up: 1hr30mins (material included)

Special training in Drawing and Painting, with various medium exploring and effects creating skills improves students’ academic and intellectual achievements.
